The half yard website is currently offline, and won't be coming back.

I'm working on re-hosting my work as we speak, so will get the new links up asap!

I will have to publish the links on each blog page.

Update of the year... Placement

Well, I have been neglecting my blog for a VERY long time, must start paying it a bit more attention. But I have been very busy, more so than I'm used to!

Back from Christmas and been back at work for a week now. Been making an Endocrine RLO this week, which is to be used on Thursday. So that's quite good. It's nice to be pushed a bit more than normal, although I know I've still got more to give. So hopefully will start having more challenges workwise.

I'm waiting to hear back from a few people about other RLOs so hopefully I will be getting more work to do soon. Although Paul, my boss, is going away for a week next week, so it's not looking too hopeful.

In the mean time, I should make a start on my website that I haven't done for the last 2 years...
Need to think what to put it in really! Although I am more fluent in flash now, so hopefully that will help... maybe?

Placements

Right, quite a lot has happened!

I didn't get the Henley on Thames job at Signals. Upon reflection after the interview I was finding myself thinking that it wasn't really the job I wanted afterall.

I've been to an interview in London for SMi, still waiting to hear back from them, should find out by the end of the week.

I have another interview later today for a Plymouth job in e-learning (PMS), just preparing for that atm. So we'll have to see how that goes! They let you know if you've got the job on the day though, so that's useful.

Dan and Ted have already got jobs with PMS, so we'll have to see if they like me too!

Got my fingers crossed, it's becoming increasingly difficult to perform day-to-day tasks :P

Yay! Placement interview!

I've got my first placement interview confirmed for Thurs 5th April. Looking forward to it actually, although, I'll probably be really nervous on the day.

I really, really want this job, I went to a talk about the company and placements in general, and it just sounded perfect! The company is called signals and it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for, which is amazing seeing as I'm not even sure what I'm looking for exactly, lol.

Anyway, shall have to keep you posted on any updates!

Website

My website isn't looking too good atm, it's a bit neglected. So I've decided that I shall have to sort it out over the Easter break. Hopefully I should have a brand spanking new website all ready after Easter. Keep meaning to get some work done on it, but there's just never enough time!

Also, tried installing some software on my PC, but it doesn't have enough ram :( So will have to look at buying some more ram :P hehe
